United Style Review aims to make style writing clear, specific and fair. We distinguish description, interpretation and advice, and do not present taste as fact.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against appropriate sources and take care with dates, terms and descriptions of garments. Where a claim is uncertain or depends on context, we say so. Our articles are written for general readers and are not professional advice.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader interest and relevance to our subject. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favourable assessment. We do not imply that a product or look suits everyone.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or unclear wording, contact us with the article and the passage in question. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted, making substantive changes clear to readers.

Partners and illustrations

Paid or otherwise arranged partner material is clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where applicable, they are labelled, and are not presented as documentary photographs.
